We are pleased to have been selected in the guide of Sole 24 Ore Cultura "100 LUOGHI DEL CONTEMPORANEO IN ITALIA" edited by Nicola Ballario.
100 itineraries dedicated to contemporary art in Italy to discover and explore.
A reasoned guide, an alternative to the most well-trodden historical routes, aimed at dissemination for the general public.
We often hear that Italy holds a good portion of the world's artistic and cultural heritage, but when this happens, it always refers to great works of the past. Due to its cultural stratification, Italy is also a precious source of inspiration for more recent artists, and in recent decades museums, galleries, foundations, public artworks, parks, and squares dedicated to contemporary art have emerged.
Contemporary art, often considered difficult and elitist, contains within it the condition to make us reflect on the meaning of our existence. Therefore, the volume aims to be a kind of reasoned guide, a window on little-known contemporary art in Italy, to allow the general public to approach places and artistic events still relatively unexplored and to experience transformative cultural experiences.
